Italiannies

Focaccia and Tuscan bread - complimentary
When beginning of every meal, the waiter served us a complimentary home-made Focaccia and Tuscan bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
They do sell the bread in loaves. Do get them if you enjoy it.
The bread is fresh, soft, warm and when you Dip into the pool of balsamic vinegar and olive oil, somehow there is a unique taste that is hard to describe.

Pizza Caprese

Cherry tomatoes, basil, red onions and buffalo mozarella cheese scattered indiscriminately over a thin crust pizza.
It might looked ordinary, but you will be hooked up to the crispiness and the pleasing aroma of the pizza.

Roasted Chicken with Balsamic Glaze

Oven-baked roasted chicken glazed with Balsamic that served with rosemary wedges and garlic butter broccoli.
The chicken was very aromatic but the meat very dry and rough.
The best from this plate would be the garlic butter broccoli and the wedges.

Sausage Carbonara

Chicken sausage meatball tossed with Alfredo sauce over linguine pasta.

The portion they serve is huge. I think can feed 2 people.
Meatballs were very salty though.
The sauce was thick and very creamy.

Hon Kee Porridge 汉记靓粥

Hutong Foodcourt in Lot 10 has brought in many famous eateries around KL area into one stop.
The environment is cozy with modern interior, definitely gives a more comfortable dining environment to diners.

Raw Fish Porridge
At Hon Kee Porridge stall where is quite famous in Petaling Street.

The fish slices raw served here slices thinly and fresh. It drizzled with sesame oil and with generous amount of fresh coriander and finely chopped green onion together with some delicately sliced ginger..

Their porridge, very smooth (not to thick) and delicious.

You may choose to throw everything in the plate into the porridge or dip the fish into your porridge to let it cook a little before placing it in your mouth.

I more prefer to dip the fish into the porridge to let in cook a little. You can taste the texture differently and the fish wont lose the texture.

Pork Innards Porridge

(cantonese called chu chap chok) is one of the signature porridge in Hon Kee.
The pork innards that they serve are fresh.
The ingredient that I liked best was the deep fried pork intestine which tasted so crispy and good in the porridge.

Their porridge very smooth (not to thick) and delicious and it same as the last review the raw fish porridge.

Kim Lian Kee 金莲记

Kim Lian Kee stall in Lot 10 Hutong winning over the crowd with their famous hokkien mee.
The aroma from the hokkien mee never fails to draw people in to the stall.
The thick yellow noodles are doused in dark soy sauce and come with cabbage, prawns, pork, squid and the crispy lard fritters.

Hokkien Mee
he taste are not bad just a bit of bitter (maybe too much dark soy sauce) and I would prefer it with more lards, the hokkien noodle would be more fragrant tongue.

Its great with sambal belacan or with garlic to spice things up.lol
